ORGANIZATION AT A GLANCE

Kanachur College of Nursing Sciences is located on University Road, Natekal, Deralakatte, Mangalore, Karnataka. The institution began its journey with the inauguration of the four-year Basic B.Sc. Nursing program on October 1, 2016, with an initial intake of 60 students. In 2019, the intake capacity was increased to 100 students.
As per the Indian Nursing Council Notification, the institution received approval to enhance the intake for the B.Sc. Nursing program to 250 seats for the academic year 2024-25. Today, we are proud to have 595 students actively pursuing their nursing education.
Our vision is to deliver high-quality education while fostering values of excellence in nursing education, practice, and research. The mission of Kanachur College of Nursing Sciences is to “prepare compassionate, dedicated, and skilled nurses who can serve both hospital and community environments.” We strive to achieve global standards in nursing education through innovative teaching methods, excellence in research, and the empowerment of future nurse leaders to advance the healthcare system.
Under the aegis of the trust, several institutions have been established—beginning with a school in 2002, followed by a PU College in 2007, a Degree College in 2009, and in 2016, the Kanachur Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, along with Colleges of Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences. The trust further expanded its reach by establishing the Kanachur Ayurveda Hospital and Pharmacy College in 2024 and successfully launched the Kanachur Ayurveda College in 2025.
Five batches of students have successfully completed the B.Sc. Nursing course and are now placed in various national and international healthcare organizations. Their academic achievements are as follows:

The institution is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), Bangalore, and the Government of Karnataka.
