Kanachur Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mangaluru, successfully organized the Valedictory Function of “AYURPRAVESHIKA” (Transitional Curriculum Program) along with the Inauguration of the Sanskrit Club on 20th December 2025 at 2:30 PM in the College Auditorium (4th Floor). The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the State Anthem. The gathering was formally welcomed by Dr. Vidhyaprabha R., Principal, KAMCH, who highlighted the significance of the transitional curriculum in shaping the academic and professional journey of newly admitted BAMS students. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was carried out by the dignitaries, marking the formal inauguration of the event. Subsequently, the Transitional Curriculum Report was presented by Dr. Bhavya B.S., Vice Principal, KAMCH, outlining the objectives, activities, and outcomes of the AYURPRAVESHIKA program conducted for first-year BAMS students. This was followed by Prize Distribution, recognizing the active participation and achievements of students on online competitions. The Sanskrit Club was then formally inaugurated, emphasizing the importance of Sanskrit language in Ayurvedic education and classical literature. The Chief Guest, Dr. Leeladhar D.V., Principal, KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia, and Chairman, Board of Studies (UG), RGUHS, delivered an insightful address, motivating students to uphold academic discipline, ethical values, and holistic learning in Ayurveda. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Haji UK Monu, Chairman, Kanachur Islamic Education Trust, who encouraged students to utilize institutional facilities and academic opportunities effectively for their professional growth. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Aneesh T. Transistional Coordinator, expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students for their cooperation and support. The event ended with the National Anthem. The valedictory function and Sanskrit Club inauguration were conducted smoothly and successfully, marking a meaningful conclusion to the AYURPRAVESHIKA transitional curriculum program.
