The Department of Rachana Shareera at Kanachur Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital focuses on the study of the structure of the human body as explained in both Ayurvedic texts and modern anatomy. It forms the foundation of medical education by helping students understand the organization of the human body—from the gross to the microscopic level. The department is equipped with a well-maintained Dissection Hall, where students gain practical knowledge through cadaver dissection and demonstration. It also houses a spacious Anatomy Museum displaying over 150 human specimens, models, and charts that provide a comprehensive understanding of various anatomical structures. Through a blend of traditional Ayurvedic concepts such as Sira, Snayu, and Marma, along with modern anatomical knowledge, students develop a clear and detailed understanding of the human body. With experienced and dedicated faculty, the Department of Rachana Sharira strives to create a strong academic and practical base for future Ayurvedic physicians, integrating classical wisdom with modern scientific learning.
