An exhibition was organized on 23rd August 2025 at Kanachur Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, on the occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day celebration. The exhibition showcased a wide range of Ayurveda exhibits prepared by various departments, including Kaya Chikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, Shalakyatantra, Prasooti Tantra, Agadatantra, Samhitha Siddhanta, Swasthavritha, and Kriyashareera.
The exhibition provided valuable insights into Ayurvedic treatment modalities, medicines, and medicinal plants. Each department displayed models, charts, and practical demonstrations that helped the visiting students to grasp the traditional and scientific aspects of Ayurveda. The Anatomy Museum added to the learning experience, allowing students to observe human organs closely, while the Physiology Skill Lab offered demonstrations on essential clinical skills such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the method of checking and understanding Body Mass Index (BMI), Prakruti Pariksha, and the use of Nadi Tarangini for pulse diagnosis.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Swami Jithakamananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore, in the esteemed presence of Chairman Dr. Haji U K Monu, Principal Dr. Vidhya Prabha, and senior consultants of the institution. Their presence added inspiration and encouragement to the event.
The exhibition attracted a large number of participants. Around 250 school and college students attended and benefited from the exhibits. The interactive sessions and demonstrations were especially appreciated, as they enabled the students to understand the holistic and scientific relevance of Ayurveda in the modern world. Overall, the exhibition was a grand success, fulfilling its objective of spreading awareness about the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and its practical applications in healthcare.
